Crispy Chili Beef

Using: Reuven Fully Cooked Beef Strips (Product Code B03677)

Ingredients

 

 

 

 

500g (17.6oz) Reuven Fully Cooked Beef Strips (Product Code B03677) - thawed
½ cup (125 ml) corn starch
2 tsp (10ml) Vegetable oil
1 med white onion, sliced
1 tsp (5ml) minced ginger
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsp (45 ml) soy sauce
2 tbsp (30 ml) rice vinegar
2 tbsp (30 ml) ketchup
3 tbsp (45 ml) sweet chili sauce


Garnish
½ green scallion, sliced thinly
3 tbsp (45 ml) chili crisp
1 tbsp (15 ml) white sesame seeds
Serve with steamed white rice.

 

 
 

Preparation Instructions

 

In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onion, ginger, and garlic for 2-3 minutes until they become fragrant.


Then, add soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, and sweet chili sauce.


Continue to simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and hold.


Toss the thawed Reuven Fully Cooked Beef Strips with cornstarch.


Deep-fry the beef strips for 30-45 seconds, and immediately toss it in the saucepan with the prepared sauce.


Serve the sauced beef stirps on a bed of steamed rice and garnish with scallions, chili crisp, and sesame seeds.In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onion, ginger,
